"Scratches his head and does his best James Dean"

A couple months ago a friend let me borrow the movie "Rebel Without a Cause". I had heard of it--a fifties classic staring the "oh so amazing" James Dean, but had my doubts. I ended up enjoying every minute of the movie. Something about James Dean really appealed to me and I realized that the "amazing" part is true. Well this week the same friend let me borrow "East of Eden" another one staring the one and only James Dean. I was really excited despite the fact that it is another movie based on a Steinbeck novel, whom I really dislike (well at least I dislike Grapes of Wrath). James Dean was so good at playing Cal, you almost had to wonder. His acting seemed so effortless and yet so unique. (Not to mention, he is highly attractive). Strangely enough, I have been thinking about James Dean an awful lot. I have read about all his problems, but still did not loose this fascination with him. There is something about that sparkle in his eye that you can't help but love. I guess what this all comes down to is that I am a sucker for the rebels...
